Qatar at Gamescom 2025 | Digital Dunes’ Global Debut

We’re proud to mark a milestone for both Digital Dunes and the wider Qatari games ecosystem. This August, we joined Gamescom 2025 for the very first time, as part of the Invest Qatar booth. It was also Qatar’s debut at Europe’s biggest games event.
Alongside fellow Qatar-based studios Mezan Studios and Dijitink, we showcased our work, met players, and built new partnerships. These connections will carry momentum into the months ahead.
Why Gamescom 2025 mattered
This year’s edition set new benchmarks across the board:
- 357,000 on-site visitors from 128 countries
- 1,568 exhibitors from 72 countries across a record 233,000 m²
- 34,000+ trade visitors
- 72 million views for Opening Night Live (+80% YoY)
- 630 million total digital views across the show program (+105% YoY)

Qatar’s first appearance, hosted by Invest Qatar
For the first time, Qatar took the stage at Gamescom. With support from Invest Qatar and Media City Qatar, our country showcased its fast-growing gaming and digital media sector.
We presented Pro Soccer Legends (PSL) to a truly international audience. We shared our vision, gameplay, and roadmap with players, creators, and partners.
For us, this milestone went beyond a demo stand. It was an opportunity to represent Qatar’s creative talent on a global stage and to gather valuable feedback from the community. That feedback will help us shape the next steps for PSL and deliver an even better experience for players.
What’s Next
Gamescom 2025 was only the beginning. We look forward to building on this milestone and continuing to bring Qatar’s gaming ecosystem to the world stage.
